Our love for the outdoors truly began in the Midwest. Growing up playing in Lake Michigan and braving Minnesota winters, founder Ben was lucky enough to travel to New Zealand in 2011 to start a lifetime career in the open air. Since then, we’ve worn almost every hat imaginable— from ski and bike shop tech, to Avalanche Control, EMT, Dog Handler, Kayak Guide, Ski lift operator, to multisport tour guide.

After living and working through the greater Rockies, we returned home to the Midwest in 2021 alongside our family. Since then, our true passion has been connecting these firsthand experiences directly with our shop partners and consumers across the Great Lakes and beyond.
